How to Record Harvests in ApiManager

Open the Harvests screen

1. Open Harvests from the ApiManager menu.
2. Tap/click Create.

Step 1: Select scope (Apiary & Hives)

Define where the harvest comes from.

• Apiary — choose the apiary.
• All Hives — harvest applies to all hives in the apiary.
• Hives — select one or more specific hives.

The hive counter shows how many hives are included.

Step 2: Enter harvest details

• Name — descriptive harvest name (example: “Spring Honey Harvest”).
• Date — when the harvest occurred.

Step 3: Select product

Choose what product was harvested.

• Honey
• Propolis
• Wax
• Pollen
• Swarm
• Queen
• Royal Jelly
• Venom

Honey variety (only for honey)

If Honey is selected, choose the honey variety (for example: Acacia, Linden, Forest, Meadow).

Step 4: Enter harvested quantity

Enter how much product was harvested.

• Quantity — numeric value.
• Unit — kg, lb, g, or other unit depending on product.

When enabled in settings, harvested products are automatically added to your storage.

Notes (optional)

Add details such as moisture content, extraction method, quality notes, or any special observations.

Save the harvest

1. Review your entries.
2. Tap/click Save.
3. The harvest is now stored in your records.

Best practices

• Record harvests on the same day they occur.
• Use consistent naming for easier filtering.
• Always select the correct product and unit.
• Review harvest history before planning sales or processing.

Consistent harvest records help you analyze production trends, compare apiaries, and evaluate colony performance.
