How to Use Offline Mode in ApiManager

How Offline Mode works

Offline mode is automatically activated when your mobile device has no internet connection.

While offline, you can still add key records in the field. Once your device reconnects and you log in again, all offline entries are synchronized to your account and the temporary local data is cleared.

What you can do while offline

ApiManager lets you create the following records without internet access:

• Inspections
• Feedings
• Harvests
• Treatments
• Tasks
• Notes

Tip: If you’re in a known low-signal location, keep recording as usual — you don’t need to enable anything manually.

Step-by-step: Using Offline Mode in the field

Step 1: Continue working normally

1. Open ApiManager on your phone.
2. Create a new record (inspection, feeding, harvest, treatment, task, or note).
3. Save your entry — it is stored locally on the device while you are offline.

Step 2: Return online

1. When you have internet again, open ApiManager.
2. Log in again (this triggers synchronization).
3. Your offline entries will sync to your account, and temporary local data is cleared.

Best practices

• Sync as soon as possible after fieldwork (reconnect + log in again) to upload offline entries.
• Avoid uninstalling the app before you sync (offline entries are stored locally until uploaded).
• Keep battery healthy during long yard sessions (use battery saver if needed).
• Use clear names and notes so your offline entries are easy to review once synced.

Offline Mode helps you stay consistent with record-keeping — even when you’re far from reliable internet coverage.
